As one of the UK’s leading independent photographic retailers, we are pleased to announce the latest developments to our state-of-the-art stores in Rathbone Place, London and Burgess Hill, West Sussex.
In December 2023, we worked in collaboration with Fujifilm to fully redevelop the dedicated Fujifilm areas within our two stores. These improvements are designed to enhance the overall shopping experience, and to showcase the latest products across Fujifilm’s line-up of mirrorless X Series and medium format GFX cameras and lenses. It is now easier than ever before for customers to try out the range, speak to our expert team and learn which products suit their shooting needs.
When visiting either store, you’ll discover a fresh new Fujifilm ‘touch and try’ zone showcasing the current product line-up, with a soft countertop, where photographers of all experiences can explore the cameras in detail. Existing Fujifilm owners can also try the full variety of XF and GF lenses.
Overlooking the Fujifilm zone in the Park Cameras Burgess Hill store is a model of Himeji Castle. Originally designed to guard important places in Japan for almost 700 years, this impressive replica is a fantastic focal point for customers to test out lenses prior to purchase, such as the popular XF 80mm f/2.8 WR.
In addition, we are now showcasing the current line-up of INSTAX cameras, including the popular mini 12, Square SQ40 and the recently-introduced, super-small INSTAX Pal. Designed to capture spontaneous moments, these instant point-and-click cameras are ideal to take anywhere.
Further improvements to our London store include two state-of-the-art kiosks, enabling customers to conveniently turn your memories into prints, or create photo gifts such as canvases, mugs and more. Whether printing from a camera or phone, the process is hassle-free and allows you to turn your digital photos into high-quality prints for personal use and gifting.
As ever, our team of friendly experts will be on hand to guide customers, offer advice and provide in-depth product information, as well as giving valuable recommendations.
Frank Keenan, commercial director at Park Cameras, commented, “Redesigning the Fujifilm area of both our stores in this manner has made it easier than ever to showcase the full range of Fujifilm products, and help our customers make informed decisions as to which products suit their needs. We decided that there was no better time to improve the printing services within our London store, to match the experience at our flagship store in Burgess Hill, ensuring memorable shots don’t get left on phones or SD cards, but can be physically touched and shared. Following these enhancements to the stores, I believe that Park Cameras is one of the best locations in the UK to get hands-on with the entire range of Fujifilm products, delivering a truly enjoyable and informative shopping experience thanks to our highly trained staff.”
Jonathan Difford, head of sales – Imaging Solutions UK at Fujifilm, added, “Fujifilm continues to invest in high street stores to ensure that customers can get the most from their photo taking and photo making. The Park Cameras team has worked hard to create an ideal environment to experience our extensive line-up of products and services. We are sure that customers will appreciate having a dedicated space to explore the options available, from digital to INSTAX to high-quality printing services.”
For more than 50 years, Park Cameras has offered premium customer service combined with honest, friendly advice from one creator to another.
