Fujifilm XF 23mm f/2.0 R WR Lens Black Overview
The XF 23mm F2 R WR is a wide-angle lens with excellent image resolution, capable of drawing out the full performance of Fujifilm's proprietary X-Trans CMOS sensor found in Fujifilm mirrorless cameras. It has a similar size and design flair of the existing XF 35mm F2 lens, to make up a stylish collection of compact F2 lenses. The inner-focus AF system uses a stepping motor* to drive the focusing group of lens elements for silent and fast autofocus.
The metal exterior gives a sense of premium quality and robustness, and the aperture ring and focus ring have been designed for optimum operability. The lens is also weather and dust resistant and operates at temperatures as low as -10°C, making it an ideal choice for outdoor photography, in keeping with the latest in Fujifilm’s X lens range.

The lens consists of ten elements in six groups, including two aspherical elements. The optimum positioning of the aspherical elements ensures flatness of the image plane for edge-to-edge sharpness.
The aspherical elements are used as part of the focusing group to minimize performance fluctuations between different focal distances.

Fast and silent autofocus
The inner-focus AF system** uses a stepping motor to drive lightweight focusing elements for silent and fast autofocus. When combined with the phase detection AF system of FUJIFILM X-Pro3 and X-T4, the lens can focus in an astonishing 0.05 seconds***.

Our Verdict
This well built, weather resistant Fujifilm Fujifilm 23mm f2 R WR XF lens will work down to -10 degrees, so wherever you go, it'll be ready to capture brilliantly sharp photos. A fixed 35mm focal range is an absolute favourite for street photographers, while also giving options for landscape and environmental portraits along with a host of other subjects. The bright f/2 9-bladed aperture helps photographers to isolate their subject in any lighting situation and allows you to continue shooting with Fujifilm’s excellent AF as light dips. Soft creamy out of focus areas can be captured when shooting portraits thanks to the rounded blades internally
The lens is also extremely well built with a metal casing along with moisture and dust resistance for outdoor shooting. Results are impressive too thanks to the inclusion of two 2 aspherical elements. Weighing in at 180g allows anyone to bring this compact prime on travels and day shoots barely noticing the weight, which belies the beautiful images which it can capture.

Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy.
- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen may have scratches or wear that is starting to affect the display.
- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
- Well Used – The equipment will show significant signs of wear. The paintwork will be coming away in large areas exposing the metal work, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen is heavily worn either by de-lamination or has scratches to it. Rubber grips are starting to come away from the body.
- Lenses – The lens has dust inside that may affect images. The rubber zoom/focus ring is coming away from the barrel of the lens.
