Intuitive controls via your phone, tablet or computer provide the opportunity to fine-tune highlights, mid-tones and shadows in real time, and VR streaming is available at up to 8K 30fps with a license, or 4K 30fps license-free, using RTSP, RTMP, RTMPS, HLS protocols.

In-camera HDR captures the world closer to reality, with fewer blown out highlights and more balanced results. Remote monitoring and control

Enter the Pro 2, which is equipped with cutting-edge Farsight technology, a 360° live monitoring system revolutionising long-distance previewing. Offering a high-definition, low-latency video stream, Farsight enables seamless scene direction from afar.

With a transmitter and receiver, creators gain effortless control over their shots from distances of approximately 300 meters. Operating at 5.18GHz, Farsight employs intelligent channel switching to ensure uninterrupted communication amidst competing signals.

Seamless integration with Adobe Premiere Pro

The Insta Pro 2 camera streamlines the editing process with its integrated Adobe Premiere Pro workflow, eliminating the need for traditional stitching. After capturing a video, the Pro 2 automatically generates a low-resolution proxy version alongside the full-quality footage.

Creators can simply import their footage directly into Adobe Premiere Pro, where the proxy files are instantly recognised and stitched for previewing the final project. These proxy versions facilitate editing as you would with standard video. When it's time to export, Insta360's algorithm seamlessly stitches together only the footage used in the final project at full quality, saving time, processing power, and effort.

Portable and versatile

The Pro 2 weighs in at a handy 1.55kg including the battery, memory cards and antennae, making it easy to carry on remote shoots or send up on a professional drone, and its hot-swap battery dock ensures that it stays powered-up out in the field.

It sports four built-in mics for 360 audio, plus a pair of USB and 3.5 mm audio inputs on its top and bottom – allowing creators to add a custom audio setup or other add-ons as their shoots demand.

Six MicroSD card slots, one per each camera, allow the Pro 2 to record at the maximum possible bitrate, ensuring optimal image quality and post-production flexibility. A seventh Full SD card captures stabilisation data and low-res proxy files optimised for editing in Adobe Premiere Pro.
