Canon Reveals The World Unseen Exhibition

In a first of its kind, this unique exhibition features works from renowned photographers, including Sebastião Salgado, Brent Stirton, Nanna Heitmann, Muhammed Muheisen, Yagazie Emezi and Marc Aspland.

The exhibition is aimed at visually impaired visitors, as well as this who are visually able, with works which merge brail, with 3 dimensional reliefs and photography. This unique blend enables visitors who are blind or have visual impairments to experience the power of photography, in an entirely new way.

You can watch an inspiring short trailer for the Canon World Unseen exhibition at the Somerset House website, and experience the online version at Canon’s website, which includes photographs that are described by the photographer themselves.

Images from various regions including Papua New Guinea, the Amazon, and the Arctic are showcased, all unified by an environmental theme that promotes the natural world.

The World Unseen is created in partnership with the RNIB.
