Reasons to buy from Park Cameras

It works with any roof prism binocular that has a standard 1/4" thread socket between the objective lenses, and on most models it's thin bridge will still allow you to set your bincular to the minimum interpupillary distance adjustment.

  • Simply screws onto the binoculars between objective lenses
  • Easy grip thread that allows it to be attached firmly to the binoculars with ease, even in gloves
  • Thin bridge will allow it to fit all, but the narrowest of interpupillary distance
  • Attaches to any standard tripod or monopod with a 1/4" threaded screw
  • Attaches to any tripod/monopod head using the 1/4" threaded screw on the quick release plate
  • Whether outdoors observing from one spot over extended periods, or keeping your binoculars trained on the garden feeder so you don't miss that fleeting visit, the BA-185 Binocular Tripod Adaptor will deliver

To attach the BA-185 to the binocular, simply take off the cap on the front of your binoculars between the objective lenses to reveal the 1/4" threaded socket and screw in the adaptor tightly.

To attach the BA-185 (and binoculars) directly to the tripod/monopod, then simply screw the adaptor onto the 1/4" thread.  Please note, it will not fit a 3/8" thread that can be found on larger tripods.  In this case, you will need to attach the BA-185 to a tripod head.

To attach the BA-185 (and binoculars) onto a tripod head, then simply screw the adaptor onto the 1/4" thread of the quick release plate and use the tripod head as normal. This has the added advantage of allowing you to aim the binoculars much more easily.

So if you plan to use your binoculars for longer periods in one position, such as a bird hide, or just want to set up the binoculars to keep an eye on the bird feeding station in your garden, then check out the BA-185 Binocular Tripod Adaptor.

Important Notes:

Binocular must have a 1/4" threaded socket (please check before buying)
Support mechanism must have a 1/4" threaded screw
Intended for roof prism binoculars, but some 50mm (or larger) binoculars may have an smaller minimum interpupillary distance
