Shimoda Action X70 HD Backpack Army Green Summary
The X70 HD is our biggest pack, created to accommodate our DV Core Units (Large v2, Extra Large v2 and new XXL).
The Action X70 HD accommodates larger Cine, Digital Video and super telephoto camera kits. It is the ideal choice for cinematographers, long lens wildlife shooters and campers. It's built for big loads and its new Heavy Duty (HD) build was developed to withstand the rigors of active action sport videographers and movements they endure accessing remote locations.
The HD model features reinforced critical stress points, thick nylon webbing, and aluminum hardware for greater durability and stability. Its belt has been redesigned to offer greater stiffness, support and pack stability. Two belt pockets and new adjustable sizing round out the HD belt features.
The X70 HD has adjustable torso height shoulder straps featuring two zippered pockets to carry the latest iPhone Pro Max phones, a water bottle or personal accessories. They are constructed with high density EVA to ensure a comfortable carry over long days. A padded sleeve protects laptops and tablets up to 16 inches, two large tripod pockets can also handle 2-liter water bottles, and its expandable volume lets you pack according to the day ahead.
A removable belt, luggage-handle pass-through and hidden AirTag sleeve make the Action X70 HD a perfect adventure travel partner for big pursuits.

FEATURES:
- Adjustable Torso Height - The X70 has four height options with approximately 10 cm (4 in) of vertical adjustment. This means the same backpack can fit short or taller — male or female — torso heights, ensuring a custom fit for everyone.
- Those with taller or broader torsos can add our Booster Kit for greater range in torso fit.
- Core Unit Modular Camera Insert System - The X70 utilizes our DV (Digital Video) Core Unit which are available in Large, Extra Large and XXL and offer cine camera and super telephoto users a set-up that’s ready to go right out of the bag.
- Wildlife or sports shooters will appreciate its ability to pack and protect a lens up to 600mm 4.0. Core Units are sold separately from the Backpack so that users can choose the size that best fits their needs.
- 16-inch Laptop Sleeve - Rear pocket fits a laptop up to 16 inches, such as the MacBook Pro 16.
- Expandable Roll-Top Access - We gave the Action X series a roll-top access so the bag can be adjusted to your gear needs while maintaining a tight and compact fit. The roll top can expand with a volume range of 7 liters.
- The top section also has an additional quick-access YKK SplashGuard® zipper that makes getting at your gear extremely quick and easy, especially in foul weather.
- Hidden Tracking Device Sleeve - A new hidden sleeve holds a personal tracking device so you always know where your pack is. In the unfortunate scenario your pack goes missing, a tracker can assist in discovering its location and recovering your gear. The sleeve accommodates AirTag and Tile Pro devices.

Condition guide
Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy.
- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen may have scratches or wear that is starting to affect the display.
- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
- Well Used – The equipment will show significant signs of wear. The paintwork will be coming away in large areas exposing the metal work, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen is heavily worn either by de-lamination or has scratches to it. Rubber grips are starting to come away from the body.
- Lenses – The lens has dust inside that may affect images. The rubber zoom/focus ring is coming away from the barrel of the lens.

This product has been thoroughly tested by our team of photographers and we are happy to give a 6 month warranty as a result. The number of tests depends on the individual product but we are confident in this product having tested all the major functions. Anything that isn’t as you would expect, we then make a note of and show this in the condition notes on the page.
