USB Type-C
The CG2700X features USB Type-C connectivity that handles video signal, USB data, and 94 W power delivery, which significantly simplifies cable management and enables quick setup with a compatible laptop or computer.
Network Access
A wired LAN port is integrated into the monitor, which provides a stable network connection. When a device is connected via USB-C, it can access the network through the monitor. This supports asset sharing and remote workflows, and enables network-based colour management using the ColorNavigator Network. EIZO’s MAC Address Clone Utility can assign the host computer’s MAC address to the monitor to maintain authenticated network access.
Built-in Calibration Sensor
An integrated calibration sensor can be set to calibrate automatically at designated times. It swings into place for measurement and retracts when not in use, allowing for an uninterrupted workflow, while maintaining complete colour accuracy. This also ensures consistent colour without the need for a separate hardware calibration device.
ColorNavigator 7 and Network
ColorNavigator 7 software provides simple and precise monitor calibration. It can schedule automatic calibration, save data to the monitor, and match external sensors to internal standards. ColorNavigator Network also allows for the remote quality control of multiple monitors, even across locations.
Wide Gamut and Accurate Colour
The CG2700X covers 99% Adobe RGB, 98% DCI-P3, and supports BT.2020. Its 3D LUT ensures accurate RGB colour mixing and smooth gradations. Factory adjustment fine-tunes the gamma curve for each unit, ensuring reliable results straight out of the box.
10-Bit Simultaneous Display
The monitor can render over a billion colours simultaneously with a 10-bit display from a 16-bit LUT via DisplayPort or HDMI. This results in smooth gradation and subtle colour transitions, which is ideal for photo editing, video grading and graphics applications. A compatible graphics card and software are required for full functionality.
HDR Gamma Support
The CG2700X accurately displays HDR video content thanks to support for both PQ and HLG gamma curves. Its 500 cd/m² brightness and high contrast ratio (1450:1) help display rich blacks and realistic highlights which are suitable for HDR workflows.
Broadcast and Cinema Presets
Preset modes include DCI-P3, BT.709, BT.2020, PQ (DCI and BT.2100), and HLG. These help professionals work in the correct colour space and gamma curve for their content. Preset brightness levels can be maintained automatically using the built-in sensor.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to buy a separate calibration device?
No. A calibration sensor is built into the bezel and can be scheduled to recalibrate automatically using ColorNavigator 7. Calibration data is stored in the display itself rather than the computer, so settings are retained when you connect a different machine.
Can it calibrate while I’m working?
Yes. The sensor swings onto a small area of the screen, allowing recalibration to run while the rest remains usable. EIZO does, however, recommend avoiding colour-critical work during the process because the displayed colours are being adjusted.
Can I connect a laptop with one USB-C cable?
Yes, with a compatible computer. USB-C carries the display signal and USB data while supplying up to 94W of power, so many high-performance laptops can run and charge from the same connection. The built-in Gigabit LAN port can also provide wired networking through that connection.
Is it suitable for HDR video editing?
Yes. It supports HLG and PQ gamma curves alongside BT.2020, BT.709 and DCI-P3 presets, with 500cd/m² maximum brightness and 98% DCI-P3 coverage. It is aimed at HDR editing and grading rather than reproducing the extreme peak brightness of a dedicated mastering display.
Is the shading hood included?
Yes. A monitor hood is supplied, helping to reduce reflections and ambient light reaching the panel during colour-critical work. USB-C, HDMI and USB Type-A to Type-B cables are also included, although supplied accessories can vary by country.
What warranty does it come with?
EIZO provides a five-year manufacturer’s warranty, subject to its usage conditions. Brightness and colour are warranted for up to 10,000 hours under specified settings, and ColorEdge models also carry a six-month guarantee against bright sub-pixels.

Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy.
- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen may have scratches or wear that is starting to affect the display.
- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
- Well Used – The equipment will show significant signs of wear. The paintwork will be coming away in large areas exposing the metal work, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
