Pulsar Merger LRF XT50 Thermal Imaging Binoculars in More Detail
Next-Level Thermal Performance
The Merger LRF XT50 is Pulsar’s most advanced thermal imaging binocular yet, combining a 1280x1024 resolution sensor and 50mm f1.0 lens for incredible image quality. Minimal compression ensures crisp visuals with reduced noise, even at high magnification. The 2.0–16.0x zoom range retains clarity throughout, letting you inspect distant heat signatures in fine detail.
Wide Field of View with Image Stabilisation
With a 17.5° field of view, the XT50 provides excellent spatial awareness for environmental scanning. Image stabilisation – a first in Pulsar binoculars – eliminates shake and motion blur, especially useful when observing fast-moving subjects or recording from handheld positions.
Built-in Laser Rangefinder
An integrated precision rangefinder provides accurate distance measurements up to 1500m, with ±1m accuracy. Switch between single-step or continuous scan mode to assess distances quickly and effectively.
Comfortable Viewing and Design
Dual HD AMOLED displays reduce eye fatigue during long sessions. The XT50’s form factor mirrors traditional binoculars, offering a familiar feel and excellent ergonomics. Its magnesium alloy shell is durable and IPX7 rated for resistance to rain, fog, and submersion, and performs in temperatures from –25°C to +50°C.
Long Operating Time
The dual battery system includes an internal Li-ion and swappable APS3 battery, delivering up to 8 hours of continuous use. Batteries are easy to change without interrupting your observation.
Connectivity and Recording
The XT50 features built-in recording with audio and 64GB of internal memory. Using the Stream Vision 2 app, you can control the device remotely, access media, and apply firmware updates. Dual-band Wi-Fi provides reliable, fast connections to your phone or tablet.
Eight Colour Palettes
Choose from eight viewing modes for different tasks or conditions. White Hot, Black Hot, and Red Hot are ideal for general detection, while Ultramarine and Rainbow assist with identification. Sepia, Red Monochrome, and Violet reduce eye strain for night-time viewing.
